Adult/Adolescent Clinical Training


  • All in-person training has concluded for this contract year. Please check back in September 2018 for the 2018-2019 training calendar.

Registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, physicians, and physician assistants who have already completed a 40 hour Sexual Assault Examiner classroom course and are caring for American Indian/Alaska Native patients in the USA are invited to attend this two day, hands-on clinical skills training. Participants will develop and enhance their clinical practice skills in the care of adult victims of sexual assault. This training will simulate the patient care setting and include hands-on assessment and examination of mock patients.

Pediatric/Adolescent Clinical Training

ALL SLOTS ARE FILLED.  Check back after Sept 1, 2018 to see if additional slots have been added.

This individual, one on one, 3 day hands-on clinical skills training opportunity is open to RNs, Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Physicians working at Tribal or IHS facilities who have already completed a 40 hour Pediatric Sexual Assault Examiner classroom course. As this is a one-on-one, hands-on training opportunity, limited slots are available.
